Adipex and phentermine – which one works better?

Before selecting the most suitable weight loss formula, one will always try to get some information like what all options are there, how these drugs differ from each other, etc. When searching for the best diet pills, one will get to hear about two prominent names in the category of the most trusted diet pills, one of which is phentermine and the other is adipex. It has been more than 50 years now since phentermine first reached the market. It came with proper approvals and prior clinical tests performed over it. But as these drugs do not work in the same way for all, the prescription of some of the ingredients of these formulas were banned.

Even though, the use of phentermine to suppress appetite was not banned and the diet pills manufactures kept on using it as an ingredient in their formulas. But due to the disturbance caused because of banning some of the ingredients, its popularity was affected. Thus it was launched with another name which was adipex with the same ingredients as phentermine. Thus there is no question of comparing adipex and phentermine as both of them have the same composition. Both of them work on certain types of neurotransmitters that result in the suppression of hunger. The only difference between the two is their name and the brand name under which they are manufactured. 

But this does not mean that if you are using one of them, you can switch to the other right away. Some of the ingredients which are present in these drugs in minimal quantities may differ due to which their dosage may also not be the same. Thus while switching from one to another, always consult your doctor. Only he can suggest you the accurate dosage. So if you are trying to find out which one is better from adipex and phentermine, it will be better to try one of them and then decide.
